PCTG PRO vs. PETG

If you already print with Atomic PETG PRO, your existing settings are a good starting point for PCTG PRO. Adjust as needed for your printer, part geometry and desired finish.

PCTG PRO offers enhanced impact resistance compared with traditional PETG, along with reduced stringing and oozing for cleaner-looking prints.

Printing and drying PCTG PRO

Dry filament makes a difference. If PCTG has been left out, dry it at 60°C for at least 8 hours before printing. Make sure your dryer and spool are suitable for that temperature.

Keep filament dry during longer prints, ideally by feeding it from a dry box. Store it in a sealed bag or container with desiccant between uses.

For nozzle and bed temperatures, start with your Atomic PETG PRO profile and fine-tune from there.
