Translucent Bright Orange PCTG PRO: finish and uses
A bold, vibrant orange with a translucent finish for display pieces, prototypes and designs where light transmission matters. Made in Indiana, USA. PCTG PRO is also a toughness-focused option for functional parts.
Translucent filament does not guarantee a glass-clear printed part. Wall thickness, infill, layer structure, surface finish and lighting affect light transmission and perceived depth of color.
Indicative color reference: #DF6F2B, attributed to Filamentcolors.xyz and not independently verified. A hex reference cannot describe transparency; compare a physical sample for your project.
Printing Translucent Bright Orange PCTG PRO
Published nozzle temperature: 255–272°C. Heated bed: approximately 80°C, with a 70–90°C starting range. Adjust for your printer, build surface and part geometry.
An existing Atomic PETG PRO profile can be a starting point, but test rather than assuming every setting transfers unchanged. Tune temperature, cooling, flow and retraction for your setup.
Functional performance
Match your design and printing setup to the expected loads and operating conditions. Chemical, oil and grease compatibility depends on the substance, concentration, exposure time and temperature; test a representative part for your application.
Quality and specifications
Published diameter and roundness tolerances: ±0.02 mm or better. Refer to the available variant above for diameter and spool details.
Spool returns

Translucent Bright Orange PCTG PRO FAQ
Is this the same as Perfect Orange Opaque?
No. This product has a translucent bright orange finish, while Perfect Orange Opaque is a solid, opaque orange option.
Will thick parts still look translucent?
Thicker walls and dense infill can make a part appear darker and less translucent. Test your intended geometry and lighting.
Can I use my Atomic PETG PRO profile?
Use it as a starting point, then test and tune. The published nozzle range is 255–272°C, with bed guidance of 80°C ±10°C.
Does the hex reference specify transparency?
No. #DF6F2B is an indicative third-party color reference, not a transparency or optical-performance specification.
Can I try a sample first?
Yes. Try a Translucent Bright Orange PCTG PRO sample coil to check the appearance and test your printer settings.
