About Atomic Filament
Premium 3D Printing Filament. Made in America. Since 2014.
Atomic Filament was founded in 2014 by Mike, a 3D printing enthusiast who—like many of us—grew frustrated with the poor quality and limited material options of the time.
With a background in industrial automation and a deep understanding of the industry’s shortcomings, Mike set out to build a brand that would prioritize one thing: uncompromising reliability.
Today, Atomic is a staple for both hobbyists and industrial manufacturers. Mike remains hands-on, obsessively improving our processes to ensure that every spool you receive delivers consistent, high-quality results.
We thrive on your feedback. By listening to you, we continue to develop new polymers, custom colors, and specialized additives to help you bring your most ambitious projects to life. We love seeing what you create—thank you for being a part of the Atomic journey.
Happy creating,
The Atomic Filament Team
PS: Using a Bambu Lab printer? Our spools are fully AMS-compatible for seamless multi-color printing.

🌱 Our Commitment to Sustainability
We believe great filament and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. Since our founding, we’ve been building practices that reduce waste, support renewable materials, and minimize our carbon footprint.
♻️ Spool Return Program
Return your empty Atomic Filament spools and get $2 credit per spool toward your next order. Mail them back to us and we’ll clean, inspect, and reuse them — keeping plastic out of landfills and supporting a circular economy for the maker community.
🌳 Renewable PLA Materials
Our PLA filaments are made from plant-based, renewable sources including corn starch and sugar cane — not petroleum. Lower carbon footprint, biodegradable under industrial composting conditions.
🇺🇸 Made in Indiana = Lower Carbon Footprint
Local manufacturing means shorter shipping distances for most US customers. No transoceanic freight, no customs delays — just fast, efficient delivery.
