Translucent filament does not guarantee a glass-clear printed part. Wall thickness, infill, layer structure, surface finish and lighting affect light transmission and perceived depth of color.
Printing Translucent Sapphire Blue PCTG PRO
Published nozzle temperature: 255–272°C. Heated bed: approximately 80°C, with a 70–90°C starting range. Adjust for your printer, build surface and part geometry.
An existing Atomic PETG PRO profile can be a starting point, but test rather than assuming every setting transfers unchanged. Tune temperature, cooling, flow and retraction for your setup.

Is this the same as Royal Blue?
No. Sapphire Blue has a translucent finish, while Royal Blue PCTG PRO is a solid, opaque blue option.
Will thick parts still look translucent?
Thickness and internal structure affect light transmission. Thicker walls and dense infill can make a part appear darker and less translucent; test your intended geometry.
Can I use my Atomic PETG PRO profile?
Use it as a starting point, then test and tune. The published nozzle range is 255–272°C, with bed guidance of 80°C ±10°C.
