Smoke Blue Carbon Fiber Extreme PETG PRO: finish and uses
An opaque smoke blue with a carbon-fiber-textured finish, lighter than the Dark Blue Carbon Fiber PETG option. This grade uses PETG resin with USA-made milled carbon fiber rather than carbon powder or dust. Made in Indiana, USA.
Consider it for technical models, fixtures and functional parts where rigidity and a smoke blue finish suit the design. Added stiffness does not guarantee greater impact toughness in every direction; evaluate part geometry, layer orientation and intended loads.
Indicative color reference: #375D71, attributed to Filamentcolors.xyz and not independently verified. Screens, lighting and print settings affect perceived color; a flat hex value cannot capture the textured finish.
Printing Smoke Blue Carbon Fiber Extreme PETG PRO
Published nozzle temperature: 238–265°C. Heated bed: 80°C ±10°C. Use a nozzle diameter of 0.40 mm or larger. Tune flow, cooling, retraction and temperature for your printer, build surface and part geometry.
The filament is mildly abrasive to print nozzles. Use a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle suitable for carbon-fiber-filled materials. Check your printer and feeding-system manufacturer’s guidance for filled filament rather than assuming compatibility with every setup.
Quality and specifications
Published diameter and roundness tolerances: ±0.02 mm or better. Refer to the available variant above for spool and diameter details.
