Smoke Blue CARBON FIBER Extreme PETG

3 reviews

MFG Atomic USA

  • $ 5399

Same formula as our very popular Extreme Black CF PETG now available in a lighter blue compared to our dark blue CF PETG.

Prints with a smoke blue CF texture & no transparency.

Filament and parts are NOT brittle like some other CF products. Excellent for professional looking technical prints.

Engineering grade PETG resin with USA made premium MILLED carbon fiber NOT powder or dust.

PETG is a newer printing filament and has the advantage of printing easily like PLA, but offering higher temp and impact resistance like ABS.

Carbon fiber infused filament benefits:

  • Increased rigidity / strength
  • Highly desirable texture / look
  • Greatly reduced part shrink / warp
  • Greatly reduced stringing / angel hairs
  • Printed parts hold better details / sharp corners

Works well

Works great. Good for fine detail. Only complaint, if that, is that, if you print straight on glass, the glass was not strong enough to not pit when removing the part.

Fantastic in Every Aspect

Just finished printing a 1Kg spool of this filament and all I can say is wow. I tried the typical PETG found on amazon when I first got my mini and honestly I though it was “good”. However, this stuff is just in another category of quality. The strength of this material alone would make me assume it would have to compromise in finish texture and have some other major compromise. I can confidently say it doesn’t have a single compromise. In fact, I prefer to print with the carbon fiber variant over the standard PETG pro simply for its complete absence of stringing and the surface looks so dang good! Highly recommend if you are looking for the best PETG on the market!

Glad it is working for you Andy!

This is some truly incredible stuff.

Atomic has really knocked it out of the park again with this color of the CARBON FIBER extreme PETG. I'm really bummed I didn't buy multiple reels of this before it sold out. Can't wait until it is back in stock again! Going to reprint all the parts for my MK3S+ with it. The blue is stunning, and it's the same awesome quality and consistency of their other filaments. Super strong and lightweight! Which is great for so many applications. I personally print this on the lower end temp range (between 235-240C), but I have a modified copper hotend with an upgraded heater and thermistor. Stock PETG Prusaslicer fan settings, and 90C bed temp. It prints magically. Barely any stringing at all, fantastic layer adhesion, and has a beautiful mixture of matte and shiny look depending on the lighting. You really can't go wrong with it! Thanks, Atomic!
