Carbon Fiber Extreme Black PETG PRO: material and uses
Milled carbon fiber, rather than carbon dust or powder, gives this PETG PRO a deep opaque black appearance and slightly textured finish. Consider it for fixtures, housings and functional models where added rigidity suits the design. Made in Indiana, USA.
Added stiffness does not guarantee greater toughness in every direction or application. Part geometry, layer orientation and printing conditions affect performance; test the finished part under its intended loads.
Indicative color reference: #404141, attributed to Filamentcolors.xyz and not independently verified. Screens, lighting and printing conditions affect perceived color; a flat hex reference cannot capture the texture.
Printing Carbon Fiber Extreme Black PETG PRO
Published nozzle temperature: 240–265°C. Heated bed: 60–78°C. Use a nozzle diameter of 0.40 mm or larger. Tune temperature, flow, cooling and retraction for your printer, build surface and part geometry.
This filament is mildly abrasive to print nozzles. Use a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle suitable for carbon-fiber-filled materials. Check your printer and feed-system manufacturer’s guidance for filled filaments.
Quality and specifications
Manufactured with laser-based diameter and roundness monitoring. Published diameter and roundness tolerances: ±0.02 mm or better. Monitoring does not eliminate the need to maintain and tune your printer.
