Deep Black Opaque PCTG PRO: finish and uses
A deep, opaque black finish for functional parts, jigs, shop tools and enclosures. Made in Indiana, USA. PCTG PRO is a toughness-focused choice for parts that need to handle everyday mechanical stress.
Indicative color reference: #312F31, attributed to Filamentcolors.xyz. This reference has not been independently verified. Screens, lighting and print settings can change perceived color; use a sample coil when color matching matters.
Printing Deep Black Opaque PCTG PRO
Published nozzle temperature: 255–272°C. Heated bed: approximately 80°C, with a 70–90°C starting range. Adjust for your printer, build surface and part geometry.
If you already print Atomic PETG PRO, use your existing profile as a starting point rather than assuming every setting transfers unchanged. Tune temperature, cooling, flow and retraction for your setup.
Functional performance
PCTG PRO is intended for tough functional prints. Suitability for a chemical, oil or grease depends on the substance, concentration, exposure time and operating conditions. Test a representative part before relying on it in service.
Quality and specifications
Published diameter and roundness tolerances: ±0.02 mm or better. Choose the available variant shown above for spool and diameter details.

Deep Black Opaque PCTG PRO FAQ
Is this black translucent?
No. Deep Black Opaque is the opaque black option, rather than a translucent smoke finish. Thin sections and lighting can still affect perceived appearance.
Can I use my Atomic PETG PRO profile?
Use it as a starting point, then test and tune for your printer. This product’s published nozzle range is 255–272°C and its bed guidance is 80°C ±10°C.
What is it useful for?
Consider it for jigs, shop tools, enclosures and other functional parts. Check the loads and operating conditions for your application rather than assuming any printed part is suitable.
Is the hex color an exact match?
No. #312F31 is an indicative third-party reference, not a verified color-match specification. A sample print is a better way to compare a physical color.
Can I try a sample first?
Yes. Try a Deep Black Opaque PCTG sample coil to check the finish and test your printing setup.
