Tough PLA Filament – Impact Modified

Tough PLA that bends before it breaks. Standard PLA is stiff but brittle. Atomic Extreme Impact and Ultra Impact PLA blend virgin NatureWorks Ingeo PLA with an impact modifier to reduce brittleness and improve impact resistance, while keeping the easy printing PLA is known for. Made in Indiana, USA.

  • Tougher than standard PLA: better at surviving drops, snaps and clips that would crack regular PLA.
  • Prints like PLA: 190–230°C nozzle, no enclosure needed.
  • 1 kg AMS-compatible spools and 3.5 kg jumbo rolls, held to ±0.02 mm.
  • Try it first: 50 g PLA sample coils.

Tough PLA is great for functional parts used at room temperature. It softens at about the same temperature as regular PLA, so for heat, sun or outdoor use, choose PETG PRO or PCTG PRO. Not sure which? Read PLA vs PETG.
